Generally, soaking nuts allows for the following:

  1. Improved taste- soaking removes the dust, residue
  2. Gooey Protein Balls – the consistency is so much smoother.
  3. Easier food preparation – now that the pecans are softer, they are so much easier to work with!

Why are they called energy balls?

Energy balls derive their name from the fact that they are loaded with simple ingredients that will fuel you through the day!

Additionally, I like to add collagen or protein powder, so you get an extra protein punch.

Energy balls make the perfect pre-workout snacks. Furthermore, they satisfy my hunger as I am waiting for my dinner to finish up.

What do you need these energy balls for?
