How to Clean Your Kitchen Stovetop in 5 Minutes

The stovetop is difficult to keep clean, especially when used every day. Washing it is a real hassle, and we often give up due to lack of time. But to avoid hard-to-remove, encrusted stains, it’s important to clean it every day, removing sauce, oil, and coffee splatters. Be careful, though: stovetops, especially stainless steel ones, scratch easily, so use gentle, degreasing products.
Let’s see how to keep the stovetop clean and shiny using a few household products and natural remedies.

Stains are very easy, and cleaning it isn’t easy, as the wrong products can scratch and leave streaks.
To degrease and make it shine, you can use a dishwasher tablet, which is great for more than just washing dishes. Dissolve it in a bowl of boiling water using a teaspoon, then dip a slightly abrasive sponge in it and scrub the stovetop.
For hard-to-reach areas, such as nozzle crevices, use an old toothbrush. After removing all encrustation, rinse thoroughly with a damp microfiber cloth.
Alternatively, to remove encrustation, you can use water and percarbonate, leaving it on the stains for at least fifteen minutes. Toothpaste is also slightly abrasive and whitening; you can squeeze it directly onto the stains, leave it on for a few minutes, and then remove it with a damp sponge.
