In addition to the stovetop, it’s important to clean the burners every day, or at least once a week, as they tend to accumulate grease and grime.
To make them look like new, soak them in a bowl of boiling water and two tablespoons of sodium percarbonate. Let the burners soak overnight, and the next morning, rinse them under running water, using a sponge to remove any remaining residue.
How to Clean the Grates
Cleaning kitchen grates may seem like a daunting task, but with the right tools and methods, it can be done easily. Best of all, you can use more sustainable methods. Alternatively, you can use a solution of baking soda and white vinegar. Sprinkle baking soda on the grates, then spray with vinegar. Let sit for a few minutes until the suds subside, then soak in hot water. Then, rinse everything and dry with a microfiber cloth.
To clean an induction hob, simply use a simple bamboo sponge. First, wipe with a dry cloth to remove any food residue. Don’t use a microfiber cloth because it releases microplastics. Pour a little dish soap onto the hob and scrub with a sponge soaked in water. We recommend a very soft bamboo sponge that won’t scratch your induction hob. Rinse to remove the soap. Now remove excess water with a cloth and let dry. Your hob will shine!
