🌭 2 smoked sausages
🌭 2 smoked frankfurters or knacki
🧅 1 small onion
🧈 1 tbsp butter
🧂 1 pinch salt
🍅 2 tbsp ketchup
🌿 2 tsp mild mustard (American or yellow mustard)
🛢️ A drizzle of oil (for baking or grilling)
🧄 (Optional) A few sliced pickles or relish

Finely slice the onion. Fry it in a pan with butter and a pinch of salt until golden brown and slightly crispy (5-8 minutes). Set aside.
Cook the sausages 🌭
Cook the sausages in simmering water for 5 minutes or brown them in a pan with a little oil for a toasted finish (as pictured).
