How To Make grammie’s coconut pie
- 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine sugar, flour, and salt in a double boiler. Add milk and egg yolks; mix well. Place over rapidly boiling water and cook for 10 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from boiling water and add 1 cup of coconut and vanilla.

- 5 Tbspcake flour
- 1/2 tspsalt
- 2 cmilk
- 3 lgegg yolks, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cshredded coconut
- 2 tspvanilla extract
- 1baked pie shell
- MERINGUE TOPPING
- 2 lgegg whites
- 4 Tbspgranulated sugar
