🥘 Zucchini Potato Meat Casserole

 

  • Preheat oven to 170 °C (340 °F).

  • Line a 22×22 cm baking dish with foil, leaving overhang. Lightly grease.

  • Layer as follows:

    1. Half of the zucchini

    2. Half of the meat mixture

    3. All the potatoes

    4. Remaining meat mixture

    5. Remaining zucchini

    6. Drizzle sauce over top

6. Bake

  • Cover tightly with foil.

  • Bake 50 minutes at 170 °C (340 °F).

  • Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top.

  • Increase oven to 180 °C (355 °F). Bake uncovered 10–15 minutes until cheese is golden.

7. Serve

  • Rest 10 minutes before slicing to allow layers to set.

  • Serve warm with salad or crusty bread.
