Soft loaf recipe – how to make the fluffiest brioche ever

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the warm water and dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Cut the butter into small pieces and gradually incorporate it into the dough, kneading until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  7. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and shape it into a loaf. Place it in the prepared pan and let it rise for an additional 30-45 minutes.
  8. Bake the loaf in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Remove the loaf from the oven and let it cool before slicing and serving.
    Tips:
  • For an extra fluffy texture, make sure to allow enough time for the dough to rise.
  • You can brush the loaf with melted butter right after it comes out of the oven for a shiny finish.
  • Feel free to add in some raisins or chocolate chips for a delicious twist on this classic brioche recipe.
