- 3For the sauce, mix ketchup and corn starch together. Then stir in the remaining ingredients. In a microwave-safe measuring cup, microwave for 3 minutes. Stir.

- 2 lbchopped meat
- 4eggs
- 1 lgonion, finely chopped
- 2 Tbspchopped parsley
- 2 tspsalt
- 1/2 tsppepper
- 2/3 coatmeal
- 1 cItalian bread crumbs
- 1 cfinely shredded carrots
- 1 cfinely shredded celery
- 6 Tbspketchup
- SAUCE
- 1/3 cketchup
- 1 canbeef consomme soup (10.5 oz)
- 1/2 tspdried basil
- corn starch
- several drops of Frank’s red hot sauce or Tabasco hot sauce (optional)
- 4Pour sauce over meatloaf after it has baked for 1 hour. Bake for another 1/2 hour.
