📖 Instructions:
1. Preparing the dough:
- In a large bowl, combine flour, powdered sugar, salt and ground nuts.
- Add cold butter cut into pieces and rub it into the flour until crumbles form.
- Add the egg yolk and vanilla extract, knead the dough until smooth and elastic.
- Form a ball of dough, wrap it in cling film and place in the fridge for 15-20 minutes.
2. Forming cookies:
- Roll out the chilled dough to a thickness of approximately 5 mm.
- Cut out crescents or other shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Cut a small hole in half of the cookies so that the jam will be visible after assembling.
3. Baking:
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
4. Filling and decorating:
- Leave the cookies to cool.
- Spread a thin layer of jam over the whole cookies and top them with the cookies with the hole cut out.
- Sprinkle the finished cookies with powdered sugar.
