I swear, the magic is in the sauce for this dish.

1. Marinate the Beef

In a medium bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix until the beef is well coated. Let it sit for 15 minutes to tenderize and soak in flavor.

2. Cook the Beef

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until just browned and cooked through (about 2–3 minutes). Remove and set aside.

3. Sauté the Vegetables

In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Toss in the onion, green pepper, and red pepper. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more, stirring constantly.

4. Bring It All Together

Return the beef to the pan. Add the oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper, and beef broth. Stir well to coat everything evenly. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes, letting the sauce thicken slightly and cling to the meat and vegetables.

5. Serve and Enjoy

Serve immediately over a bed of steamed rice, or try with noodles for a hearty twist.
