Homemade Cheese Bread: Crispy on the Outside, Fluffy on the Inside

Preheat the oven   to 180°C (350°F).
Mix the dry ingredients  : In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add the grated cheese.
Combine the liquid ingredients  : In another bowl, mix the milk with the melted butter and beaten egg (if using).
Blend the mixtures  : Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry bowl and mix until smooth.
Form the loaves  : Roll them into balls or discs and place them on baking paper.
Brush (optional) and bake  : For a golden finish, brush with egg. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve warm and enjoy  : with butter, jam, or on their own, they’re a total pleasure!
