  2. Bake the cakes for 20 minutes. Let them cool for 10 minutes before removing them from the pans.

Step 5: Merging Layers

  1. Prepare a mixture of melted chocolate and cream.
  2. Spread chocolate cream on each cake layer and arrange the layers in a checkerboard pattern.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for 4 hours to allow the dough to stabilize.
