⅓ cup (66g) brown sugar
2 teaspoons (5 g) ground cinnamon, divided
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into ½ inch (1 cm) dice
½ cup (125 g) butter, room temperature
⅔ cup (75 g) granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ teaspoon (7.5 ml) pure vanilla extract
1 ½ cup all-purpose flour (172.5 g)
1 teaspoon (5 g) baking soda
½ cup (125 mL) + 1 tbsp (15 mL) milk, divided
½ cup (75 g) powdered sugar
