- 5Beat room temperature egg whites and water until foamy. Add sugar and beat until stiff.
- 1baked pie shell
- 1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 Tbspcorn starch
- 2 Tbspall-purpose flour
- 1/4 tspsalt
- 3egg yolks, reserve whites
- 3 cmilk
- 1/2 stickbutter or margarine
- 1 tspvanilla extract
- MERINGUE
- 3egg whites
- 1 Tbspwater
- 3 Tbspsugar
- 6Spread meringue over pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Refrigerate.
