Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones with Colossal Cheese Volcano: An Epic Snack!

  1. Prep the Filling: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a skillet, brown the 1 lb of ground beef. Drain any excess fat. Add the 6 crumbled slices of bacon, ½ cup of diced onions, ¼ cup of ketchup, ¼ cup of mayonnaise, ¼ cup of mustard, and salt & pepper to taste. Mix well to combine.
  2. Stuff the Tater Tots: Carefully hollow out the center of each of the 24 frozen tater tots to create a “cone.” Fill each tater tot cone with your cheeseburger mixture. Top each one with shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. First Bake: Place the stuffed tater tot cones on a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the tater tots are crispy and the cheese is melted.
  4. Create the Cheese Volcano: While the cones are baking, mix the leftover cheeseburger filling with the 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Once the cones are done with their first bake, pile the cheesy filling mixture on top of them to create the “cheese volcano.”
  5. Second Bake & Serve: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the “cheese volcano” is bubbly and golden. Serve the cones hot and enjoy!

Enjoy this cheesy, savory, and crispy snack!
