3. Assembling and baking:

  1. Divide the chilled dough into two parts. Roll out one and place it on the bottom of a baking sheet (25×30 cm) lined with baking paper.
  2. Prick the base with a fork and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
  3. Remove the baking tray from the oven, sprinkle the dough with cinnamon and arrange the prepared apples on top.
  4. Grate the second part of the dough on a coarse grater and sprinkle on top of the apples.
  5. Place in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 30–40 minutes, until the pastry is beautifully golden brown.
