3. Assembling and baking:
- Divide the chilled dough into two parts. Roll out one and place it on the bottom of a baking sheet (25×30 cm) lined with baking paper.
- Prick the base with a fork and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Remove the baking tray from the oven, sprinkle the dough with cinnamon and arrange the prepared apples on top.
- Grate the second part of the dough on a coarse grater and sprinkle on top of the apples.
- Place in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 30–40 minutes, until the pastry is beautifully golden brown.
