10 Signs You’re Living with Clogged Arteries

If blood flow is restricted or cut off in the carotid arteries, it can cause weakness or numbness on one side of the body. The carotid arteries are the arteries that carry blood from the heart to the head and are located on both sides of the neck.

Both divide into two branches, one that carries blood to the brain and eyes, and the other that carries it to the face, tongue, and external parts of the head.
